Ipsy bag

It is only $10 a month and comes in this gorgeous pink envelope that makes you happy as soon as you see it. The bag includes a makeup bag every month, plus 5-6 products. I immediately liked this box. I think I enjoyed this box because most of the products are beauty products anyone could enjoy.

So this box included a perfume, zoya nail polish, shimmery lotion, lip gloss, and a concealer

 

New beauty test tube

This box is $38 every other month. I did not like this first box I felt personally there were too many hair products that did not go with my hair care regimen. Hair spray and a blow out spray, I think it was to add volume. I was sad but this box did grow on me over time.

 

This box included a shampoo and conditioner, two face wrap facials, moisturiser,exfoliating cream,  mini lip glosses, hair spray, and a blow out spray

This box also comes with two magazines. I also do not care for this new beauty magazine, It features allot of plastic surgery.  I do enjoy the magazine that talks about the products received, it tells you how to use all products and the history of the company.

 

I like both boxes currently and will update you on the other ones I have received.

Smokey eye and a hat

So as always I've been away a while I have taken some pictures and received my beauty boxes. I will post those next. I want to test some of the products.
 So this look is a smokey eye, with a bright red lip I wore one evening.
 The smokey eye was done with a grey, and black shadows

 I did this look with a purple myo pigment I received from ebay, a dark purple in the crease. I put white liner in the water line and black liner thru the lower lash line, lashes and allot of mascara. If I'm not mistaken the lipstick color is Chloe by NYX.

I love how the beauty boxes both came in pink.

NEON.... What else can I say

 I purchased some myo pigments on eBay, a few months ago and they were awesome. Then I noticed they also had neon shades and while I don't wear neons often. When you want one its good to have them. Let me tell you these shades do not disappoint. There are allot of pictures of this look because I really like how vibrant it was.

 They were also very bendable it looks like I put four colors on the lid then the blue, but it was three in the lid then the blue. These colors blended together so well they created a different color.

These pigments were reasonably priced, I paid $14. for 10 colors and I am happy I gave them a try. Looking on eBay today the set is $20. But a little goes a long way and I may still want to try other colors they have.

In other makeup news I subscribed to two beauty boxes, ipsy, and test tube. So I should be getting new products on a more regular basis to review, or warn you about. I have been wanting to subscribe to a beauty box but I was nervous. But I have a friend who gets ipsy, and my aunt gets test tube so I'll try it out. They all seem to be easy to cancel if you change your mind. So ill keep you posted.

Day to evening look

So sometimes you know in the morning you have multiple things to do and you wont really have time to redo your makeup for the evening but you would like it to be nice for say a wedding. That's where I was going, but I also wanted to be presentable for things I needed to handle in the morning.

In comes the day to night look

This is a simple grey look with a crease darkened with brown and black. presentable and wearable for the morning ( sorry I don't think I had on any lipstick for the full face picture) also transformable for the evening. Just add a simple line of glitter above the liner, a bright lip color, and lashes and your transformed for evening in less than 5min.

Blurple lotd

So I did this really simple look with a matte purple and matte blue shadow. I think it was from a wet and wild palette from a fergie eye kit. My lip tar is hoochie ( yes thats the name of the color) from obsessive compulsive cosmetics (occ) There is a brown thorough the crease and a highlight on the brow bone.

 

 

My hair was in a few cornrows over night. I have since dyed my hair, over the next few videos watch as my bangs turn more and more pinkish white. It gets bad before I actually dyed it.

Gold and teal / day two twist out

So this is the second day of this twist out, I like it a lot more the second day, and every day after since the curls get looser. I am wearing gold eyeshadow on my lid brown in the crease, teal liner on the lower lash line, and purple liner in the water line.

 I felt like my eyes were so busy I just put on a nude lip. Looking at the picture now it looks like my lips are not there. Oh well?

My first twist out, Not really?

So I did a twist out with my hair, and to my knowledge that is just twisty braids that are taken loose once dry. It lasted about a week with me putting it up at night.

My makeup is simple, purple shadow at the lashes and pink above that, with pink on the lips. It was very simple and quick.
