IMATS 2014 LA (quick post)

Well I will  use these pictures that I don't know when I uploaded to say that I will be at the IMATS 2014 LA. I'm so excited I have my shopping list all ready and I am counting down the days.

I have looked at the weather report and it is supposed to be in the 70's but it is still 9 days out so hopefully it will be nice.

Hauling again

Haullliiinnnggg!!!
 So what can I say I was shopping my behind off. I treated myself, I treated myself to some things I have watched but had not had the nerve to splurge on. So I will walk you through my purchases now.

So I have been wanting these illamasqua palettes but they are not cheap. $46. each So I decide I deserved a treat and that included the paranormal palette and the neutral palette. I have used the paranormal palette, the eye shadow is very soft. It feels like a cream eye shadow, but it is really actually a powder. I like it but I need to try the neutral palette and play with the other one more. 

I also bought this pantone palette from sephora it is really good quality. I used the taupe color this palette is very pigmented the colors are smooth. This palette is a steal at $38. This palette is fun and I like working with it.

The last thing on my sephora haul was this awesome metallic lip tar in black daliah. I love the lip tars, my only concern is that they don't travel well. I have had one bust in my bag. Yet I love black daliah and I am excited to try this metallic version.

I purchased these physicians formula eye shadows at ross. They are nice and smooth. I tried to use the green shade but it was not very pigmented. The purple shades are better. I have not tried the blue shades yet but I hope to soon.

On the left is a fit me powder, from target. $6 I believe. The powder on the right is a bare minerals powder for $30 something dollars. I have used the fit me powder before until it was all gone I love it, product and value. This will be my first time trying the bare minerals powder.

I got this fit me foundation from target, the last time I purchased the liquid it was in the shade 350. I hope that they reformulated the shades, as I did not see 350. 

I also purchased this mascara at target, Great lash is awesome need I say anything more? Also this brush really helps to. 

I have purchased parian spirit at the Imats the last two years. But this year the imats was moved to January so I haven't been back yet to purchase my regular supply. So I ordered this huge jug online. Awesome. I'm also trying this brush cleaner from Ben Nye. I will post my feelings about it later.

Updates and Haul

So I have a new job,YAY NEW JOB! I was under a lot of stress at my last job and it left me with little to no  energy at the end of the day. I needed a change and I have been enjoying the different feeling in the morning. So I have been getting back in to the swing of taking pictures of my looks, purchases, and really wearing makeup.

My collective haul

 So I wanted to buy these stila eye shadows as soon as I saw them at sephora. They remind me a lot of the inglot rainbow shadows. But these shadows were $22 each at sephora. That is more than I like to spend, but then I saw them on hautelook for $6 each, so of course I bought them.

 This mascara, lipstick, the NYX eye shadow, the blue bag in the picture, and the black eyeliner in the picture are all from my IPSY bag this month. The eyeliner is nice and soft it is from a company called starlooks. I also received a facial mask the kind that is like a sheet of wet paper you lay on your face.

 There is also an MAC paint pot in layin low, this is closer to my natural skin tone.

Weekend Pictures

So I had a busy July and here are some pictures of my different makeup looks for the weekend

 I wore a dark silver and black Smokey eye with red lipstick

On this day I wore a matte white eye shadow, pink ,purple and green liner. Also a light pink lipstick.

This was my vintage day, I loved this dress. I wore a nude eye shadow. A matte red lipstick.
I have been horrible, at taking pictures. Most of these pictures are cropped from group shots.

Beauty boxes

Ipsy bag

It is only $10 a month and comes in this gorgeous pink envelope that makes you happy as soon as you see it. The bag includes a makeup bag every month, plus 5-6 products. I immediately liked this box. I think I enjoyed this box because most of the products are beauty products anyone could enjoy.

So this box included a perfume, zoya nail polish, shimmery lotion, lip gloss, and a concealer

 

New beauty test tube

This box is $38 every other month. I did not like this first box I felt personally there were too many hair products that did not go with my hair care regimen. Hair spray and a blow out spray, I think it was to add volume. I was sad but this box did grow on me over time.

 

This box included a shampoo and conditioner, two face wrap facials, moisturiser,exfoliating cream,  mini lip glosses, hair spray, and a blow out spray

This box also comes with two magazines. I also do not care for this new beauty magazine, It features allot of plastic surgery.  I do enjoy the magazine that talks about the products received, it tells you how to use all products and the history of the company.

 

I like both boxes currently and will update you on the other ones I have received.

Smokey eye and a hat

So as always I've been away a while I have taken some pictures and received my beauty boxes. I will post those next. I want to test some of the products.
 So this look is a smokey eye, with a bright red lip I wore one evening.
 The smokey eye was done with a grey, and black shadows

 I did this look with a purple myo pigment I received from ebay, a dark purple in the crease. I put white liner in the water line and black liner thru the lower lash line, lashes and allot of mascara. If I'm not mistaken the lipstick color is Chloe by NYX.

I love how the beauty boxes both came in pink.
