LOTD blue and purple

 

This is a blue and purple look I did with glitter, black liner and lashes. I took this picture later in the day so my lipstick was worn out, i used doll by nyx it is my go to pink.

 

Well I have sworn off buying makeup for 3 months. I went to L.A. and found some stores I only get to go to at the imats. Nigles beauty emporium, and friends beauty supply. I bought some Ben Nye shadows, kryalon shadows, femme blushes, I also did a ton of shopping before my trip. So I am on a freeze until March. It has actually not been difficult at all. It may be since I have had orders coming in the mail. My next post will be a haul of all the things I've gotten lately.

Hair trials

So if you have been following me you know that I have been lightly MIA. I was on vacation and just not taking pictures of my makeup. Even when it is nice, I've just been out of it and I have no excuse I can only apologise to the bloggers I have followed and unfollowed since they did not update. I did not know how much work taking pictures, editing pictures, and uploading post could be. Now I know, and I ask you to be patient with me.


                        Now on to the hair trials I wanted to add a highlight to my hair.

Just like this one, dark reddish brown in the back and blond in the front.

But his is the "highlight" I ended up with, Orange! So needless to say this needed to be changed immediately! OH, because of course I was doing this the night before I had to be somewhere. So I grabbed the red dye I had on hand (I always buy two boxes my hair is really thick) and dyed it again for the second tome in less than 10 hours.

Final results

My hair did shed allot! But it's not orange and I'm not missing any patches. So I wont complain. This is the look for the next day's event.

Just to keep you interested I have put myself on a no makeup buying program until march! More info to follow soon.

Afro Queen

So I'm sorry I've been delaying in my postings but I have been busy. This is the first thing I did with my hair after the curls. AFRO! I love Afro's, but my hair really wont stand up on its own. 

So I put black on my lid and blended it up with a deep brown. On my lips I have my new lip tar in Black Dahlia. I love the lip tars and the fact that sephora is selling them now makes them easier to get.

Quick cut crease

This is my version of a quick cut crease, the line is defined but not sharp.

 

 

I put a matte white on the lid and green and black thru the crease.

Peach flower LOTD

So I finally dicited to use one of the makeup forever shadows I got at the imats. I pulled the shadow from the palette and it doesn't have a number on it, Sorry.  I put a matte purple thru the crease and green shadow over a green cream liner on the lower water line.

Put on some lashes on and a nude lipstick

Blue LOTD

 Hi I been shopping like crazy I'm post some swatches and let you know what things I bought that I will repurchase and what things I wont.

I did this look with a shimmery blue shadow, and a matte black thru the crease

Sorry for my delay

Sorry for delaying in my update, I edited a ton of pictures and then lost them in my edited file. I will be loading these as they are found. Excuse my strange hair, I was experimenting by braiding my hair to get waves. It turned out looking like I just woke up. 

 

For my eyes I just used a matte grey Inglot shadow on the lid, and a light brown thru the crease, black liner and lashes. Simple and quick. I have no idea what lipstick I used one of my regular Burgundy

Purple and green LOTD

So this is a look I did on a sunday morning and wore it to play baseball with some friends.

There are two shades of purple, with the darker one in the outter V. I used green liner thru

on my waterline. 

I took these pictures on the bleachers at the park so try to ignore the look of prison bars behind me

Aqua LOTD

So I have been pretty uninspired lately and I've been trolling blogs, you tube, and shopping  in an effort to inspire myself again. Yet in the mean time I have been continuing in my effort to use my bright shadows.

For this look I used a mix of inglot shadows and my 120 palette.

Bright looks

Hi So I did this look with some inglot shadows and my 120 palette, I have trying to use some much brighter colors. I put a shimmery yellow in the inner lid and a teal color on the center of my lid and swept purple from the outer v thru the crease.

 

I have also been watching a lot of you tube videos and I noticed a lot of the gurus put concealer under there brows to make them look more defined, So I have been trying this method and I have been loving the results. What do you think?

I'm tired...

I am tired of saying sorry that I am missing in action but I was just sure that August would be a better month than July. But I have been just as busy, and I am sorry that I have not been updateing as I would like too. Yet I have been shopping and I have been wearing makeup, so I do have things to share with you.

Sorry there is so much sun in these pictures, I'm trying to get better light in my photos.

I created this look with my lime crime china doll palette. It needs little explanation black on the lid and green thru the crease.
