Updated makeup storage

So this is what my vanity used to look like before I bought my new acrylic cases, the train cases served me well for a long time. Yet they are made more for travel and not space efficient.
Ignore me in the middle, that's not my best side.

So these were my train cases, as you can see in the picture on the right I had to unlock the top half and remove it to get to the excess storage space. You could just imagine how much going in that part slowed me down on busy mornings. The drawers were not very deep and everything was getting full. So as much as I loved them I had to say Goodbye

The Precious

These are the cases I ordered from acrylic concepts, they are so nice and spacious they have six drawers and ledges on the top so you can sit things on there without the fear of the being easily knocked off. They also have dividers so what you put in the drawers will not be all piled up and messy. Most of my products in the two train cases fit in one of these acrylic cases. I started going through my vanity drawers to figure out what could go in the other case.

So this is the finished transformation, as you can see the case on the left is mostly empty. I have since this picture put allot of lip glosses in this case, it's still mostly empty. I like my new cases and feel like they were a really good investment. Ignore me again this is not my good side either.
The price goes up or down depending on how many drawers you want.

This is where I ordered the case from if anyone is interested:

More ben nye looks

Products used

Do not be afraid this is my hair blown out but not straightened. As you can see I have been having so much fun with the Ben Nye shadows. I am using them almost every day, either Ben Nye, lime crime or a combination of the two.

Bonus

This is just a lazy makeup morning, Lazy mornings include foundation, concealer, blush, mascara, and lipstick. I also got my hair straightened and curled.

Green pigment LOTD

I have been getting back into taking pictures of the makeup I used and labeling them, I also figured that this would be a good way to introduce products got at the IMATS without doing a full haul. I can also add little updates of what I currently think about certain products.

I Got this unii palette and Ben Nye shadows they are very pigmented. Yet one of my favorite products in this post is the Cailyn sugar, I mixed it with my NYX pigment in jade pearl. This pigment dose not usually show up too well on me, but mixed with the Cailyn sugar all my pigments take on a new life. I'm so excited to try them with this sugar. But anyway here are the pictures of the look I created..

\

I went light with the blue through the crease it came out really nice and bendable

Also I purchased one of those clipless curling wands in the Fashion District nice, it was only $20. I know they typically cost alot more but I like the one I got. If anyone is interested in pictures or the brand let me know.

IMATS Day 2

Sorry this has taken so long to post. I have been busy putting all my makeup and clothing away from the trip and am finally feeling like im back at home. Anyway here are te rest of the pictures.

IMATS DAY 2

Before
After

Pretty cool, This took some time on sunday we were walking around for over an hour before we came back to find his face on and contacts in

Before

After

This guy was being painted at the Mac Pro booth He was cool looking, But preferred the guy the day before that had colored faces all over him. I'll try to find that picture.

This Guy was at the Dinair booth and his back was painted with 3-D makeup,
So if you have 3-D glasses see if it works here but in person it was really cool.

This was just one of the creatures we saw while walking around

Makeup Artist Museum

These were wax statues, they were so realistic, people kept thinking  Frankenstein was going to jump up and scare them. Even the tan on his arm was attention to detail you could not miss

The Wicket Witch of the West, Awesome!

The wolfman

And yes the person standing behind him is a statue as well

And me at the end of day two just let me tell you I was not this happy at 10pm when we finally reached home. Yet I had lots of fun. My plan is to attend the Toronto IMATS  next year November 2013. We will see...
